Hallo Windows Vista user,
I have no Windows Vista here. Because of that I'm looking for a Window Vista user who can check, if my software "DAXA-Chart" ist running on Windows Vista.
You can download it from here: http://www.daxa-chart.de/daxa-chart32.zip
You don't need a setup. Just unpack the zip-file and click on "Daxa32.exe". After it you should see a screenshot like this (I hope so): http://www.daxa-chart.de/chart32.gif
Every Vista-tester will get this programm for free! :-)
I would like to get a response if you're testing the programm. Thank your very much!
Take care!
Peter

Looking for a vista tester
Peter, before I download and install this program, I need to see what it does, as well as be assured it's not a virus. I never, and I mean NEVER, download and install a program from an unknown link like what's posted here.
I removed /daxa-chart32.zip from the URL, and your site is in a language I don't recognize. So, would I be able to understand what to do with the software if I chose to download? My native and only language is English. :-{

The app appears to be a 32bit stock market charting tool, but there is no English link on the site, so I kept away from it as well.

I presume that you wrote this program to sell. As a business man you should invest in a MSDN\Tech Net subscription and install Vista on your system to test your own software. This would make sense.
You are in Germany and you should be able to arrange this through you local Microsoft Office.
Nobody would or be willing to test unproven programs especially ones that needs to be tested on a Beta OS.
Also it would be nice if you can put in a switch for German to ENG,FR,SPAN to let people see what this software is about and what it can achieve for people.

I wouldn't mind trying it for him, but I'd have to be able to understand how to run the app.

Sorry, but my Computer has only 500 MHz and a little Harddisk, no chance to install Vista here. I think I must buy a new computer in summer or autumn.

The programm is only for German stockholder usefull.
Happy weekend and take care!

I put it on our own webspace so that everyone can see our addess at www.denic.de . I think, every virus-programmer will put his virus on a anonymus webspace, not using his own URL.
But no need to download the programm anymore, I found already three people who tested the programm for me and they send the result to me by e-mail already.
Thank you and everyone here for your help!
Have a nice weekend!
Take care!

I agree. It's helpful to understand stock charting for this, it seems.
I think, if I'm correct about stock charting, to give whoever test it, the ability to download any stock data for the next year for free, that is if I assume that the data will cost to get. But if it ain't in English for someone like me, what's the use?

Even if your comp is 500mhz, you can still install Vista on your computer. But hd space is kind of an issue... "Peter Harder / DAXA-Chart" wrote in message
